This Cinnamon incense has become one of my favorites in recent years, so I wanted to share it with you.
Note from the Maker:
As Bhutan’s oldest handmade incense manufacturer, all our products are prepared using traditional formulas dating from 700 years ago and are free from any chemical or environmentally harmful substances.
Cinnamon incense is made from a blend of cinnamon and other natural ingredients. When burned, it releases a warm, spicy, sweet fragrance. This scent is often associated with comfort and coziness. Cinnamon incense can be used in various settings, including meditation, relaxation, or as part of a ritual to create a soothing and inviting atmosphere.
Our incense recipes incorporate flowers, bark, wood, leaves, fruit, and roots. Most of our products use around 40 ingredients whilst some of our special ceremonial incense uses 108 natural ingredients. Many of the natural products we use grow at more than 4000 m in the Himalayas.
Collecting is undertaken by yak herders as they move their herds up and down the mountains searching for summer and winter pastures as well as families who live permanently high in the remote Himalayas. The finest quality plants and herbs are harvested and cultivated sustainably from rural communities. We are committed to adding value to the lives of rural communities by working closely with the rural communities and providing employment opportunities.
